Thunderball is a handsome, very black young Jr.Herdsire with a very impressive pedigree full of True Black and color genetics. His dense blanket yield over 6lbs. of 19.2 micron soft fleece with high character. Our breeding program is well established to where we now have foundation females of color with both the genotype and phenotype to produce high quality offspring. It was time to have a couple of comparable black herd sires to produce the black and grey crias we want. We searched a 500 mile radius for just the right black stud and were delighted to find the best boy only 15 miles down the road at Sugartown farm. Thunderball was just what I was looking for in a TRUE BLACK young male. Covid kept him from the show ring but one look at him I knew I didn't need a show record to prove his potential. Local farms have taken notice to where he is already scheduled for 5 outside breeding. One customer told me " ...if he is good enough for Sugartown to breed him to their 10X Champion Sassafras, he is good enough for my girl"! Next year's crias will be an exciting year for all of us. The anticipation is what makes breeding alpacas so much fun....and lucrative!
