Respect is the keystone of Aragon Alpacas: for our
animals, our clients, our fellow ranchers, and ourselves.
Aragon Alpacas are friendly and healthy.
We breed for fineness in fleece of dark colors, and
are committed to the growth of a superior national herd
that will support this economically viable fiber industry.
We have been raising llamas since 1995 here in Lowellville, Ohio. Currently, we have a herd of 40 animals, many of which are rescues that we have taken in. We enjoy taking our animals to parades, packing and hiking, and also showing. During the spring and summer you will likely find us at ALSA-sanctioned (Alpaca & Llama Show Association) shows througout Ohio.
We are also advisors for the Llucky Llamas 4-H Club in Mahoning County. The club began in 1999 with eleven members. In 2001, we had a total of 19 members! The club is open to any Mahoning County 4-H youth who are interested in taking a llama project, can meet the meeting and training requirements, and is eligible to show their animal at the Canfield Fair.

Farm Bureau is an independent, non-governmental, voluntary organization governed by and representing farm and ranch families united for the purpose of analyzing their problems and formulating action to achieve educational improvement, economic opportunity and social advancement and, thereby, to promote the national well-being. Farm Bureau is local, county, state, national and international in its scope and influence and is non-partisan, non-sectarian and non-secret in character. Farm Bureau is the voice of agricultural producers at all levels.
Farm Bureau Beliefs:
America's unparalleled progress is based on freedom and dignity of the individual, sustained by basic moral and religious concepts. Economic progress, cultural advancement, ethical and religious principles flourish best where people are free, responsible individuals. Individual freedom and opportunity must not be sacrificed in a quest for guaranteed "security."

Here at Chase Tavern Farm we are dedicated to preserving the value and integrity of the alpaca. We are a full-time breeding facility and family run farm, owned and operated by Cindy, Tim, Charlie & Petey Lavan. We are committed to the alpaca industry and breed for quality fiber, conformation and character. Cindy served on the national alpaca association’s (AOBA) Board of Directors, and welcomes questions regarding the industry; its focus and future. She was also chairperson for the national marketing committee. Tim is an AOBA Certified Fleece, Halter and Performance Judge and has years of experience showing alpacas in the ring and evaluating quality both in conformation and fleece.

Northwest Alpacas Ranch has been breeding elite alpacas for more than fifteen years. Our farm is home to more than three hundred suri and huacaya alpacas.

Alpaca breeding is both an art and a science and the team at Northwest Alpacas is dedicated to raising alpacas based on sound genetic selection principals. Our Studmaster Males™ are internationally famous and their progeny regularly win at alpaca halter class shows across the country.
