I could go on hyping Cal Thunder. Its all there. His great
looks! His full Peruvian pedigree with a famous sire and sister who
sold in the 2006 Futurity for $100,000.00. You can checkout Luciano

But we'll have to wait for his prodigy next year to confirm what we
suspect, that Cal will be a first class herdsire. What we can talk
about is how well trained and easy to handle he is. No, he doesn't
come to his name, but once the halter is on this young macho he is very
well mannered. I guess a lot of the credit goes to my granddaughter, Andie, who worked with him from the time he was a cria.
In a performance class, Cal actually got down on his knees and
crawled under the limbo bar. The audience applauded and my camera
missed it but all who saw were amazed.
I wish we had more girls to use Cal on this year, because I am
confident of his potential. |
