SOLD!! CONGRATULATIONS: VALLEY VIEW ALPACA
RANCH LLC
Maddy's pedigree is almost all black except for some
grey way back. We find black alpacas to be the easiest
to sell. Maddy's 2010 cria was a TRUE BLACK male, Malbec
with very dense fleece and nice character who we will
add to our herdsires. Maddy is a perfect mom, breeds
easily, and is an easy keeper. Maddy is due August 2013
with Almirante, our newest herdsire star from Patagonia.
With Maddy's strong deep black pedigree we are excited
about this pairing. We expect grey or black with extreme
fineness and fleece character. If you are looking for
black genetics in an alpaca, Maddy is an exceptional
bargain.
David's first cria was born last fall to our friends at Huacaya Hollow
Alpaca Ranch, Jennifer and Jason Ziccarelli. David did not
disappoint, producing a female with density. By improving on this
Dam so impressively, our expectations are elevated to even greater
heights for our 2012 crias. As an Elite Type fawn male with black
genetics, we believe David will produce Elite offspring of every
color.
David is a very impressive looking male who stands out from
the others at first sight. His elite style fleece has very tight
bundles of high frequency crimp. Dr. Evans places him in the top 1%
of alpacas he has tested with density of 71.5 SQmm and an S/P ratio
of 12 to 1. Evans states, "he has awesome level 4 glands" which is
what makes his fleece so bright.
We bought David when he was only 3 months old so we have waited a
long time with great expectations, after all, although David is a
beautiful alpaca, as a herdsire, the "Proof is in the progeny".
