The name "Aida" comes from the story of an African
Princess. This very stylish girl was well named. She has
a regal presence as she holds her "type" head high and
her elegant conformation is adorned in a beautiful
velvety soft robe of long, crimpy, onyx black fleece.
Pairing Aida with Modelo produced such a beautiful TRUE
BLACK cria, we decided to repeat the breeding.
TRUE BLACK is not only an ARI color, it is a term that
describes Modelo and the strong black genetics in his pedigree!
Modelo's blue ribbon winning fleece is 18.5 micron and has
consistent crimp and bundling from head to toe. He is a well
mannered young macho, is easy to handle, yet carries himself in a
regal fashion.
Modelo was a proven herdsire at an
unexpected early age. His first prodigy resides at
Aragon Alpacas in California, Where they are thrilled
with their True Black girl "Modelo's Sable"
out of
their Dark Brown Dam.
